Unity 3d or going over to the dark side

Maty October 25, 2013 Misc No Comments

Since Unity 3D engine became free for small indie developers I am planing to test it out, and a week ago I started experimenting with it. I was very positively surprised how easy and fast it is to create a nice looking and complex 3D game. Unity support JavaScript, C# and Boo as scripting languages. For an experienced java software developer, like me, C# was the natural choice, so I am now going over to the dark side of the force :). To make the switch complete I am now planing to buy a Mac mini and an iPad mini to be able to publish apps on the app store.
I will keep posting how this is working out for me, so stay tuned for more information…
